Sacrifice of Love Book Review

This final segment in the Grey Wolves Series is perhaps the most turbulent, emotion filled, passionate story about what love and sacrifice and its true cost. The image that comes to mind as I reflect back on this book is the ocean.  Think back to any trip to the beach when you would wade out far enough and tried to body surf, use a boogie board or perhaps an actually surf board. The uncontrollable energy of each wave as it pounded you without mercy until you reach the shoreline and felt relief in the foamy water’s edge. Sacrifice of love is a story about one mate’s desire to love so completely to the exclusion of his own wants and needs, his future with the mate the Great Luna predestined for him, and the child they lovingly created.

I promise, you will cry, laugh and  rejoice  at any given point as you read this book.  As a reader, I can tell you there were times I wanted to throttle Quinn (just kidding) not really and then there were times she made me laugh so hard I had people looking at me like I had three heads.   We have followed the friendship of the three girls Jacque, Jen, and Sally since the first book Prince of Wolves. We have seen them grown from teens giggling about boys to beautiful mates to some *lets me honest SMOKIN HOT, OFF THE HOOK YUMMY* Canus Lupis males.

We have seen how each mate that was so uniquely chosen for each, helped the girls grow into even better versions of themselves both as individuals and as mates.  If you ask me, I think this is a perfect example of the relationship that should exist between human mates.

I am sad the journey with Jacque, Jen, Sally, Face, Decebel, and Costin have come to a close.  Please read this amazing book. Quinn is amazing to her fans and humbled by their support. As a reader, I am humbled she has so generously shared of her heart, her wisdom and insight on topics ranging from the love and intimacy between mates, the cost of friendship and love,  the suffocating evil of  bitterness, revenge, and war, the mercy and grace of second chances, and the God given gift of a child and the blessed, privilege it is to raise that child to be a light in a dark world.

The ending is something you will try to guess and fail! I know because I tried over and over but you will not see it coming. It won’t’ be like moment you saw the ending of Sixth sense and understood who and why he saw “dead people”! I think everyone but me watching that movie saw that coming! This  story’s conclusion will make you face palm yourself in shock!

Thank you Quinn Loftis for this amazing series for creating characters that embrace your heart and wring  out your blood, sweat, laughter and tears as you follow their journey. I am humbled to call you friend. Even though this chapter of the Grey Wolves Series is over, I eagerly anticipate Book one of your new series, Into the Fae. I have said this since I first read Prince of Wolves and I will continue to say it, “This is only the beginning, it will only continue to get better from here!”

Please show your love and support for this amazing author and read this book.  Buy it, read it and review it. This series, this book is too good not to share it with someone  you know! Reviews on sites such as Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, Goodreads, and Ibooks are invaluable to the support of Indie authors such as Quinn Loftis. She will love to hear your thoughts so please show your support!

If you are new to the series then you will want to meet and get to know these amazing characters from the very beginning. I will caution any new readers especially when you meet Jen for the first time. You may not want to be drinking anything because it won’t end well for you or anyone close by.. ..thats all I’m sayin…..

I hope this review even comes close to doing this book justice. I look forward to hearing your thoughts about Sacrifice of Love and about my review.  I love to gush and dish about books. I can’t wait to talk about this one. Get your hot chocolate, grab your mate, arm yourselves with any nympho comebacks and channel your inner Jen and talk to me!

I will leave you with the words  a good friend wrote to me when she finished Sacrifice of love….

HOLY CRAP!

That says it all………………………
